Abdulhakeem Adams- How he Got Here
Abdulhakeem can be seen as a young undergraduate educational wise but when it comes to tech, na prof he be. He had his BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Ilorin in 2021, although his tech exploits began in 2017. Abdulhakeem held four roles at the different reputable companies between 2017-and 2019. He began as a Project Lead/ Frontend Developer at Madison Olste Corp. Here, he was able to build, design and implement products with amazing User Interfaces. Additionally, Abdulhakeem was an SEO consultant at CAMERAMAN.NG during the same period. By the middle of 2019, he ended his sojourn with the two companies ended and took up new tasks.
Eisoft Limited became his new workplace as a Frontend Engineer. After a while, he became a part of the team as a software developer at Semicolon. He was able to manage the roles and ended on a productive note by December 2019.
Abdulhakeem’s 2020
Abdulhakeem’s 2020 commenced with a rush of new achievements. TravelWahoo, Ourpass, Bumpa and Leatherback were his landing points. He developed user experiences that drove sales for Bumpa; Ourpass became the fastest web authentication and checkout system through his touch; He built delightful and usable interfaces that redefined the traditional banking process for Leatherback. Abdulhakeem didn’t stop growing, his o0life revolves around tech. No time to check time, abeg! What do you expect from a person who projects himself as a driver of technological adoption in 5 years? See, this life ehn, just dey show up, your hustle go pay off. Make I shock you? Abdulhakeem is presently a consultant for Atlan; a computer software company in New York and one of the top 3 modern data collaboration workspaces globally. It always seems impossible until it’s done.
Behind the tech Scene
Abdulhakeem had a challenge while starting out with his dad. You can never blame parents who take responsibility for the future of their wards. It is hard to explain tech to the older generation in this age of internet scams. They would keep asking you why you waste time pressing the phone. E no clear to dem say na the new oil be dat. I hope everything is clear to dad now, cos, Abdulhakeem is a success story. He had led a team of developers at an emerging global banking startup. Abdulhakeem Adams sees a lot of African talents creating solutions and getting recognition from the diaspora. All that is needed is for the government to create an enabling environment to complement these change makers’ efforts.
Abdulhakeem feels the gender margin in tech is the result of stereotypes about jobs meant for females. Although the ecosystem is witnessing more inclusion, it still needs scaling up. Another interesting area is that. He suggests more tech impact in social interaction. Imagine interacting with someone far away and you can almost feel the person in reality, cool, right?
