Job purpose:
The Fleet Area manager oversees fleet operations, including vehicle management, asset utilization, route planning, and implementing any programs that increase company productivity and decrease instances of waste.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for Fleet Acquisition and building suppliers database
- Manage day-to-day on-ground operations.
- Responsible for new deals vehicles pricing.
- Manage the Area Supervisors.
- Responsible for monthly Fleet payments
- Follow up on Fleet App usage.
- Handling daily complaints & verification
- Responsible for Fleet Tracking.
Qualifications
Academic Background & Professional Experience:
- Bachelor degree holder.
- Min. 5 years of experience in transportation/trucking/dispatching field/last-mile delivery field.
- Previous experience in a similar position related to fleet management & training, customer support & operation
Required Knowledge / Skills / Languages:
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive) is a must
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Possess problem-solving ability that enables you to identify and resolves problems in a timely manner
