Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Lagos, Accra or Nairobi

Carter Biggs Logistics, the official logistics provider to the Lagos State COVID-19 Private Lab Consortium, is currently seeking a Project Manager to manage a series of projects aimed at improving Carter Biggs’ operational efficiency and transforming the company into the premier healthcare logistics company in Lagos State and across all Nigeria.

Responsibilities
- Develop Healthcare Logistics and Carter Biggs’ subject matter expertise to become an invaluable partner to all teams throughout the project management process.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of project plans and manage dependencies across projects and teams
- Conduct research to proactively identify gaps in any processes, and work with teams to create long-term solutions that address those gaps.
- Provide status reports that help to mitigate risks and provide project updates to key stakeholders.
- Deliver project deliverables in compliance with the company’s quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Effectively engage and manage all vendors, focusing on strong delivery capability and cost efficiency opportunities for the project
- Overall responsibility for leading and managing the project team(s) to meet project milestones
- Define project goals and objectives; Identify customer requirements; Identify resource requirements; Develop project budget; Track incurred and projected expenses against program plan and report to management.
- Monitor and manage the project schedule from Ideation to Completion Phase.
Qualifications
At minimum a Bachelor’s Degree, a master’s degree will be an advantage.
Experience
- At least three years’ experience working in a Project Management role
- Healthcare Logistics experience is a plus
- Ability to engage with people at all levels (from analysts to C-suite executives)
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Skills:
- Good oral and written communication and the ability to have direct and open conversations
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite especially: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent at consensus building
- Strong planning and coordinating skills
