The Why of Jentle Emmanuel- A Tech “Doctor“
Jentle Emmanuel holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Cross River University of Technology. His mind was set on making a difference so he went further in his academics. The premier university of Ibadan was his next stop. Here, he acquired an MPH in Environmental Health. At this point, Jentle had a strategic turn into tech. He went for a course in software testing and boom, he fell in love with tech. It is what he has always wanted, providing solutions. His master’s degree and tech course didn’t interfere as he came out victorious. Jentle was the Student Union President. What a success story, the power of determination!
He was lucky to have a good mentor, abeg, follow person wey know the road. He was able to land a good job after six months of training. Jentle has worked with top firms since he began his career.
Jentle Emmanuel’s Path
Jentle’s career adventure kick-off at Testify as a Testing Engineer. After close to two years, he got a promotion. He led the Testing Engineering team. As a tester with a tremendous portfolio, he has worked with big companies on a contract basis. Initium analytics limited and Flooz.link has him as a specialist in 2021. TeamApt was a birthday present he got from God in December 2021, his birth month. What a great way to start an incoming year. This is where he currently flexes his skills.
Jentle is an advocate of self-development and upskilling. He has more than thirty industry-related skills to his name. Creative content creation, Eclipse, JavaScript, and Postman API are a few of his work toys.

The Tools to Survival
Jentle Emmanuel has had a beautiful experience in his tech journey. He was at a company for a job interview, the hiring managers were impressed by the value they saw in him. Did Jentle get the job? No, they didn’t employ him because his educational background was not in tech. Then, two months later, a company contacted him to deliver QA training to their staff. To his amazement, it was the same company that once rejected him. Life and its twists.
Even though Jentle is into tech, he still contributes his quota to the health sector. He has done various researches that have had positive impacts on the community. With the rapid growth of technology, Jentle feels there is a need for tech inclusion in health and the environment. He is certainly a seasoned workforce who will be forced to reckon with what will spring up in Africa. Going forward, Jentle believes that advocacy of best practices, webinars and subsided training is the key to educating more techies.
He has been there, moving from unknown to known, how did he do it? Discipline, Vision, Active learning and readiness to face challenges are the keys to thriving in tech.
