Mike Ajala has a laudable track record of learning and expertise. He had his bachelor of technology degree in physics and electronics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife. Afterwards, he did his postgraduate diploma in computer science and engineering. Mike Ajala didn’t limit himself to the four walls of a classroom for learning. He is a product of virtual international learning centres. Mike has three certifications from audacity in Cloud DevOps engineering, data engineering, AI programming and python. Additionally, he has been certified as a data scientist by WorldQuant University. Mike is also an alumnus of the Google digital marketing course. It didn’t end there, he has certifications in DevOps, Node.js, and AWS from LinkedIn. Mike is indeed the epitome of knowledge and skills.
He began his tech practice in 2011 as a programmer and developer at AGMT inc. Later, he took up roles as a chief technology officer and systems programmer at his alma mata, OAU. Afterwards, Mike took a step further in his career, he joined LFSCN as a software consultant. He took up a short-term role as a senior infrastructure engineer at common Identity. Mike is a tenacious individual who loves creating impact and contributing in diverse fields. Presently, he handles the DevOps needs as a senior engineer at Mono.
Mike Ajala’s view on Tech
Mike Ajala is one of the young tech persons who believe in Africa and her potential. As one of the wonderful products of Africa, he believes that Africa’s role as a supplier of top talents will birth life-changing tech products. Mark identified that the gender margin in the ratio of men to women is real. He added that he has met international females doing well in tech, so passion crowns it all. The impact of technology has reached almost all areas, however, the computing and engineering field needs more innovation.
Mike feels tech can be used to create better experiences in these fields. He is surrounded by people who are ready to create a sustainable invention for the ecosystem. Mike is of the opinion that the skills for success in tech are: staying updated with new trends, and impact, and managing one’s finance. He added that the key ingredient to becoming relevant is focus, grit, and planning. Tech has different paths and the ability to find a skill, learn it and constantly evolve in it is important. “Experience always shines out, time is how you gain it”.
