About MVX
We are a multiproduct maritime logistics booking platform with an integrated finance solution empowering businesses in Africa. We aggregate demand and supply of end-to-end services, and back it with working capital, in Africa’s trade and energy industries.
What You’ll Do
You’ll:
- Crafting brand content, stories and marketing campaigns to connect MVX and its products to its target customers
- Collaborate with the team on new ideas, directions, and tools for marketing and communications
- Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies
- Create templates and provide direction for promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts, newsletters etc.)
- Directing and developing UX writing and strategies
- Follow and analyze market trends to position products
- Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching, brochures, videos etc.)
- Provide strategic input and direction for the branding of MVX and its products while keeping the company’s vision, mission and purpose in mind.
- Work closely with the product management, customer success, design and other team members to communicate the organization’s 5-Star Customer Experience
- Track and report marketing campaign performance
- Track and report website analytics via Google Analytics, Hotjar and similar tools
- Source marketing opportunities to drive digital and social media engagement
What you’ll bring
Experience
A minimum of 3 – 5 years of professional hands-on experience with technical expertise and professionalism
Required
- A degree from an accredited university
- The ability to conduct market research
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Innovative and critical thinking skills
- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders who may have different requirements
- Experience working with relevant social media and digital marketing platforms
- The ability to develop marketing communication strategies and initiatives
- Understanding of UX writing, product marketing, content marketing, content management, PR, and branding
- Must be familiar with G-suite
