Nigerian Based Startup, Field Intelligence Inc has announced the expansion of its Shelf Life platform in 11 new cities across Kenya and Nigeria. After a year of strong growth in sales and Shelf Life membership subscriptions, Field Intelligence saw an increase of its pharmacy members by 47% and 65% in Nigeria and Kenya respectively.
Independent and franchise pharmacies in Rivers, Edo, Kaduna, Kano, Enugu, Delta, and Kwara States in Nigeria, and Eldoret, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Naivasha in Kenya would have access to 1,000 unique products, inventory planning, subscription delivery, and the pioneer Pay-As-You-Sell on the Shelf Life platform.

Field Intelligence launched Shelf Life, a pioneering vendor-managed inventory as a service, and Pay-As-You-Sell subscriptions for retail pharmacies in June 2017. With two years of learning and iterating, amid a step-change in the mandate for Field Supply and phenomenal demand for Shelf Life, Shelf Life ended 2018, having grown over 300% in revenue while advancing over 80,000 units of medicine over 1,000 deliveries at better than 95% on-shelf availability.
Field Intelligence is helping digitize, modernize, strengthen and sustain the supply chains that enable this access, becoming long-term partners with the communities we serve and help make good on the promise of healthcare for millions. According to Crunchbase, the health tech has raised a total of $3.6 million in a Series A funding round, with the investors being Blue Haven Initiative, Newtown Partners, Accion Venture Lab, and Sunu Capital.
