After a successful beta web app launch with over 500 users, truQ, Nigeria’s first on-demand truck sharing platform has launched a user-friendly and convenient mobile app to ensure logistics is as effortless as possible for individuals and businesses.
truQ was founded in 2019 in the wake of the difficulties experienced by co-founder and COO, Foluso Ojo in transporting her wardrobe. According to truQ’s co-founder and CEO, Fatayo Williams, the issue was that they had no idea where the particular vehicles to help them in moving were and no clear way to contact the drivers.
He said: “The same goes for businesses shipping large items to their customers or themselves, it’s either the vehicles they own are insufficient in servicing their logistics needs or they don’t even own any at all. They are all left at the mercy of random vehicle owners with their price fluctuations and their usually poor service quality.

truQ seeks to overcome the setbacks in logistics, often suffered by people and businesses across Africa. All one has to do is to book your truQ, either through the recently launched app, website or the customer support number and one is connected to the closest vehicle and driver that fits. The company offers both suitable prices as they are set based on the distance between the pickup and drop off location and security, as every driver is trained and vetted on signing up.
Keep Moving Lagos,
Just truQ it!
