A big headline right! But, before we come to this. Let’s have a quick look into how they started.
Raseedi is the vision to create a smart wallet for the masses by Ahmed Atallah (Co-founder & CEO). He worked in one of the telecoms companies where part of his work is to conduct surveys and found out that 80% of people when asked, didn’t know the bundle they are on, so they pay the wrong fee.
This led to him asking ‘ why won’t they be a solution to help people link their consumption to the bundles in the market? ‘ He wants people to save on the things that don’t matter, so they can spend it on the things that actually do.
He collaborated with Samuel Samy to build Egypt’s and the region’s first “Telecom Optimization App” that helps dual SIM users utilize their telecom spend in the best way possible with the aim to build a large network of people who make millions of monthly cheap calls and save millions of pounds through our saving platform. Interestingly, the app got 5000 downloads in the first week.

Now, a little more detail about Raseedi…
Raseedi has developed a phone dialer app for dual SIM users on Android that uses a smart algorithm to cross-match user consumption with the most suitable packages on both lines and automate calls from the cheapest SIM for each call. But with over 500 different packages being offered in the market by telecom operators, it is extremely difficult to subscribe to the most suitable packages for both lines/SIMs. In simple words, with Raseedi installed, you will be able to make the cheapest possible calls (from the options that are available), without having to think and choose the options.
The startup helps its users to solve 3 main needs: 1-Communicate and interact at the cheapest cost per minute 2-Save money through smart data-driven saving tips for Telecom, Food, Medical services and appliances. 3-Find easy Financing through our alternative scoring algorithms without a banking credit history.
