Telecom Namibia, the national telecommunications operator in Africa, has officially launched its 4G LTE Network in Groot Aub – a move designed to bridge the digital divide and bring digital services closer to all Namibians. The customers will gain the opportunity to purchase sim cards, routers, pocket Wifi’s, JIVA packages, Unlimited Hotspot and Speedlink packages. They will receive information on this premier 4G technology which will provide internet speeds never experienced before in Groot Aub.
Residents of Groot Aub required to work or study online can now do so from the comfort of their homes; they wouldn’t need to commute to neighbour towns to access internet speeds. Groot Aub customers will, effective 30 October 2021, enjoy Telecom Namibia’s 4G across a range of devices. This includes 4G compatible smartphones and 4G hotspots.
It will allow customers to experience uninterrupted entertainment in High Definition. This latest 4G upgrade further cements Telecom Namibia’s commitment to invest in infrastructure upgrades; that enable digital transformation and consistently enable a superior online experience for customers.
Telecom Namibia’s Senior Manager in Marketing Strategy, Felicitas Kakoro-Gowases shared that Telecom Namibia values innovation and embraces excellence in the services the company offers its customers.
